I had a pleasant stay at Monte Verde Inn, largely due to its fantastic location in the heart of Carmel. While my room was comfortable, it was a bit small with limited privacy since it faced the street. The breakfast basket delivered to my door was a nice touch, but the lack of a proper dining area made it slightly inconvenient. Overall, it was a great experience, but there's room for improvement.
